I've been cutting my own hair for about two years now. I've always used regular hair cutting scissors and assumed they were all pretty much the same. However, after trying these Fagaci scissors, I realize there's a significant difference between various hair cutting scissors.

These are crafted from 440C Hitachi steel, also known as high-carbon stainless steel, produced by Hitachi. The scissors came with two ring-like pieces, known as comfort rings, which you can insert into the finger holes to make them smaller. I'm using one in the ring finger hole only, and it makes the scissors feel almost custom-made for my fingers. When I tried it in the thumb hole, my thumb didn't fit as well, so I decided to leave it off.

They also come with a tension key, which I'd never used before. The package includes instructions on how to adjust the scissors for perfect tension. It's very easy to do.

Additionally, you get a leather storage case and a cloth for wiping the scissors. It's nice to have something to store the scissors in to keep them sharp, and it adds a touch of elegance.
